Psychological therapy for people navigating change, relationships, anxiety, trauma, and the complexities of being human.
A space to slow down, make sense of what is happening underneath, and develop a more connected relationship with yourself over time.
ABOUT
Hi, I’m Dianne,
a Registered Psychologist.
I'm based in Hillarys, Perth and meet with people in-person and online.
I offer a calm, reflective space where you can slow down and make sense of what’s been happening in your inner world — not just what you feel or think, but what might be sitting underneath it as well.
People often come to therapy when something keeps repeating, feels overwhelming, or stops making sense on their own anymore. We begin with whatever feels most present for you, and gently start to notice patterns in your emotions, relationships, and ways of coping that may have built up over time without you fully realising it.
Therapy isn’t about rushing to fix things or giving quick answers. It’s more about making space to understand yourself in a deeper way, so that what once felt confusing or stuck can begin to feel clearer and more workable.
My approach is steady, thoughtful, and relational. We pay attention to what shows up in the room — your thoughts, feelings, body responses, and patterns in how you relate — as a way of understanding what might be going on beneath the surface.
Over time, this kind of work can help you feel more connected to yourself, and more able to move through life with a greater sense of clarity and choice.
I work with adults who are interested in understanding themselves more deeply and making sense of patterns in their emotional life and relationships.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work one on one with adults who want to understand themselves better.
You might be going through a life change, facing challenges in an area of your life, or feeling stuck and unsure of your next step. Some people come to me because they’ve noticed themselves feeling more worried, flat or confused about things. Others come to me because they want to feel safe opening up about things that feel personal and vulnerable. They find my approach warm, honest and gentle natured.
I use evidence-based therapy methods - sometimes we will explore your experiences to understand where things started for you, other times we may focus on practical strategies for today. Where needed, I use modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support with trauma experiences.
Things might be feeling unclear, uncertain, or overwhelming. I get that the idea of going to therapy can feel like a big decision, and finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with is important.
Sometimes there’s a clear reason you reach out, other times, it can simply be a feeling that you want to talk to a trusted professional - and you want to make sense of what’s going on internally, so you can move forward with more clarity and peace.
If any of this sounds familiar, we might be a good fit.

To make sure you get the support that’s right for you, it’s important to mention that there are some areas I don’t work with. I’m not the best fit if you’re looking for support with:

These areas often need more specialised or structured support than I can provide in my practice. Plus, you deserve to work with someone who is well equipped for those needs. If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to point you in the right direction.
